|
|
Hi and thanks for the great burning app, I recommend it to all my Mac clients.
I have a question about CloneCD support (.ccd .img .sub). I have a few PS1 game images (I do own the originals but not clonecd to back them up) I am trying to burn but get errors before the burn starts. They all are in .ccd with .img and .sub files. When I load the image into Liquid CD it shows the details of the image but as soon as I hit the burn button, the disc ejects and gives me the error:
"The burn to the HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H10L drive failed. There was an error producing data for the burn."
I have tried it with different burners, different images and always the same message. One of the other images I tried consisted of .cue, .ccd, .img, .sub and it did burn if I selected the cue file. But it did not appear to burn the .sub data and it failed verification.
Am I missing something? Not sure how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated. I really would love to burn these on my Mac versus using windows CloneCD on my Windows box.
Thanks! |

Thanks for the reply.
Do you want the entire .ccd, .sub, .img or just the .ccd file itself?
Thanks! |

Ok so as usual I'm late answering questions. I could reproduce the bug with a blank (zero-ed) binary file.
The thing is that I've fixed too many bugs "in a hurry" and now I don't like the source code anymore. LiquidCD also needs a major rewrite to be compatible with the App store rules. So this is my next step.
Maybe I'll start a beta-test program for registered users. But I don't know yet. |
